Active for more than 27 years, Mr. Crener has worked in Canada, Europe and North Africa. He started his career in computer graphics and accounting in Canada working for small and larges firms before moving to Europe to accomplish a Master in Marketing from SKEMA Business School at Sophia-Antipolis near Nice, France. While in school, he spent a year at Aston University (England) and did 3 years of internship (summers) in an accounting firm in Barcelona, Spain. Mr. Crener moved to North Africa to be in the import, distribution and reselling of computer and office supplies products.
His next challenge was managing for 17 years SNC-LAVALIN International business unit and office in Tunisia working on mega projects in Libya while managing over 50 people (Expats and Locals) locally.
Mr. Crener was responsible for supporting all the projects in Libya, some projects in Algeria and Africa (Finance, Account Payables, Account Receivables, Pay, Human Resources, Project Control, Cost and Accounting, and IT coordination). In particular, he was responsible for the financial allocation of funds for all Libya project (Procurement & Pay) including the management of the payment of the suppliers (several hundreds of million euro and US dollars) and the management of the payment of the pay for more than 4.000 employees of different nationalities. He was responsible in part for the coordination of human logistics (travel, plane tickets, lodging, hotel transport/airport (more than 15.000 nights/yr. at peek). He contributed to the preparation of project proposals for Libya and medical coordination for the projects In 2015, he created his own consulting firm.
